Which is more painful,

Not watching a movie,

Or not being able to share

Your thoughts on one.

Does not having a dessert

Hurt more than not having one

With someone that marked

It as their favourite.

Which sounds better,

Being at a picturesque place

And breathing in the air or

Narrating this to a loved one.

Would it make you happy

Wearing those fine clothes,

Without being around the one

You thought would like them.

Will an artist still draw,

If he had no admirer.

Would an actor still perform,

If there were no audience.

Does it sound like a winner

When you conquer them all,

Knowing you took away 

Some chance they had.

Would you mind if 

Someone had not said anything

Or would you still rather

Be it the way it was in.
