HAPPY GIRL

Photo by Tim Mossholder from Pexels

Let the showers wet the clothes I wear
Make them look shabby and grey
I don’t mind the holes on the way
I am a happy –go –lucky girl today.
The wind plays havoc with my hair,
Makes it look tipsy-turvy, who cares
It stands out like spikes in the air
Brows raised and looks bizarre.
Swinging and swirling I turn
Singing aloud to the birds there

My limbs are hanging up and down
I am free to go anywhere I desire.
